Merbau (Kwila) is a natural reddish-brown colour which can be clear coated or painted depending on your needs.Using Finger Jointed Glue Lamination methods perfected over 50 years, ProLam is produced to create spans that only Glue Laminated products can achieve. The adhesive systems used are all service class 3 for external above ground applications giving excellent bond strength that you can count on.
Versatility & Quality
ProLam is manufactured to the highest of standards and manufacturing plants are GLTAA (Glued Laminated Timber Association of Australia) endorsed. Each and every piece conforms to Australian & New Zealand Standard 1328 (AS/NZS 1328) and is identifiable by a label with the GLTAA logo so you know you are purchasing the genuine article. ProLam contains natural resistance to termites and seasons well with kiln or air-drying, which creates durable posts and beams with very little shrinkage or movement.
